5 Star Championship Tour

Play St Andrews Old Course

8 Day (seven nights) Executive Golf and Sightseeing Holiday. 2008 Season

Day 1 - Meet and greet Edinburgh or Glasgow and travel to Gleneagles Hotel, where you will stay for 3 nights on full board basis. Enjoy a cocktail party in hotel before golfers play Queens course. Non-golfers travel for free afternoon in Perth.

Day 2 - All travel to Killin GC where golfers can enjoy 18 holes. Non-golfers visit the Falls of Dochart, Breadbane Folklore Center and Aberfeldy before returning to pick-up golf party. Return to Gleneagles via scenic route and enjoy a visit to a whisky distillery.

 

Day 3 - Golfers play Gleneagles Kings Course.

Non-golfers given a full day tour of Scone Palace and surrounding area.

Day 4 - Depart after breakfast and travel to St Andrews where we check in for 3 nights under the 'St Andrews Experience' scheme. Golfers will play the New Course in afternoon and non-golfers are free to explore the historic town.

 

 

Day 5 - Golfers will play either Kingsbarns or Carnoustie.

Non-golfers a full day trip to Edinburgh.

 

 

Day 6 - Golfers to play The Old Course! and enjoy a tour of the golf museum.

Non-golfers given full day tour to Stirling Castle and Wallace monument. Dinner provided in hotel. OLG will donate a bottle of Single Malt to the player with best 'net' score over the old course.

 

Day 7 - Travel to Crail where golfers can enjoy final 18 holes. Non-golfers tour the area and visit Arbadour Castle during golf. We then travel to Edinburgh and check into 5 Star Hotel in city center for 1 night (B&B basis).

 

Day 8 - Free time for all before transfer to airport.

Excursions will be guided by registered HOSTGA, OLG tour guide.

Price:- Based upon minimum of 8 persons per party, standard rooms (2 adults sharing).

Golfer- £3250

Non-golfer £1560

The tour is fully inclusive of all transportation, 5 star accommodation, golf fees, participation in the St Andrews Experience and your party will be guided throughout by a registered tour guide. It does not include entrance fees to visitor attractions.

Our holidays can be tailor-made to suit personal preferences/interests, in relation to sightseeing venues, and we will quote competitive prices for shorter or longer stays if desired. Our prices are not subject to seasonal increases.
